It took me a long time to learn that what I like is learning more. Over the last 10 years a a teacher this has been focused on how to teach well in my own classroom, deliver good subject knowledge and then in 2018 I discovered the world of EduTwitter and all the teaching books. From there I learnt even more about teaching and focused on teaching others. This was alongside another journey where I learnt a lot, that of parenting and this was greatly supported by the MTPT Project. Three children later, an advocate and then regional role with MTPT, an almost completed NPQ and a new role of Research and Development Lead at my school have lead me here; my very first blog.
